Sunday, March 9, 2008 Pinic under the LRT bridge.....
Today we ad big plans...we wanted to go FLY KITES!!! Friday and saturday was very sunny, so we were that today will be the same...however, morning woke up see the sky already cloudy...k kept saying "nevermind, 3pm will be bright again". so we went bf with some friends (drizzling on the way there), then went to fetch mom & went to my uncle's house. reached there, began to rain...so we went up to wait. Boo fell asleep while waiting. K too..he must be so bored till he slept beside boo...around 3, the cloud began to disperse at uncle's place, so we packed everything, mats, drinks, sandwiches etc, thinking we finally get to go..drove all the way to bt panjang to punggol...reach there...raindrops began to drop!! it started to pour the moment we alighted from the car, all of us had to run & take shelter under the LRT bridge...dunno which smart soul suggested that should lay the mats and lay out the food to eat...so mats were laid, food and drinks brought out, and we started to have a pinic the bridge, admist the downpour...boo got 1 packet of ice milo all to herself and she drank to her hearts content, smiling and lauging all the way, the grin on her face cannot get any wider... Finished all the chwee kuehs, ate some sandwiches and fruits, rain still heavy, so we had no choice but to pack and go....a kite flying excursion turned into a impromptu pinic under the LRT bridge. the person in charge of that station eventually came down to remind us to clean up the place, and when he went back to his office, he said he wish he could join us....ahahhahaha~~!! Nevermind, next week we've decided to go again, probably earlier in the morning...i don't believe it will always rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
